Yes, that is the title to the FRIENDS theme song. It does happen to be MY favorite TV show. I have seen them about 100 plus times each. I have every season on DVD individually, so 10 DVD cases takes up a huge chunk of space in my entertainment center. If you tell me about an episode, I can tell you the title. "The One Where No One is Ready" is my favorite episode. For Christmas this year, my husband got me the floor plan to Monica and Chandlers apartments.
I also love Greys, Bones, Home Improvement (this is a me and my husband show), Gilmore Girls, Supernatural, the Good Witch, Pretty Little Liars, Parks and Rec, Stranger Things, the Crown, When Calls the Heart, Sherlock, Call the Midwife, CSI: NY, Ghost Adventures, oh and DOCTOR WHO. There are more, but those are ones that I can watch over and over again.
Speaking of Doctor Who, I am a huge nerd. Marvel, Harry Potter and Star Wars are a few more of my favorites. I am always in a Star Wars shirt, I have a "real" light saber, multiple POP Funko characters, coffee mugs, you name it. Star Wars is a huge part of my life. Well, actually, all 4 are. I grew up with Harry Potter and Star Wars. From the age of 11 (don't we all wish we could have gotten a Hogwarts letter!?), I read my first HP book. I was hooked. The deaths of Alan Rickman and Carrie Fisher (who died 2 years ago today, December 26th) tore me apart. I got into Marvel and Doctor who in my adult years and haven't looked back. My favorite Doctor is Tennant, and Groot is LIFE.
One of the area's of my life that I love about myself is that I love Jesus. He is my rock, my savior. I don't flaunt my Christianity, nor do I rub it in peoples faces, but it's there. My faith is everything to me. It is how I live my daily life. I wake up and thank God for another day. I end my night by thanking Him again for a wonderful day. I believe that God has given me everything. He gave me my family when mine didn't want me (I was adopted), He gave me my 3 best friends in specific times of my life, He gave me my husband when I felt I had lost everything (that will be another blog, depression & suicide). He gave me 3 boys to mother (see we're just like Tim and Jill). He constantly gives, which is why my business belongs to Him.
Now that I have stated that, some other things that I love:
Mexican food in general
Mac and Cheese
ALL THINGS 80's
I think that covers most everything that is materialistic about me. I am a military wife. My husband has served for 13 years in the Army. We have been together for 12 years, married for 11. We will be PCSing soon out of Alaska. This will make our 5th move together, or something like that. You lose count after a while.
I also love with my whole heart. I like everyone. It takes a lot for my meter to explode. I have so much patience it is crazy. When you are my friend, you are my friend for life. I will do everything in my power to not see you hurt. My being an empath can be a curse at times. I hate that I am emotional, but it can be used for good. I always have a smile on my face. I can laugh at myself (people can tell you). I have fallen into a lake and brushed it off. One of my funniest memories ever. I love making others smile and laugh as well. Life wouldn't be life without some sort of light.
I also suffer from anxiety. This is decently new, but I feel most days that I have it under control. I am not a worrier, but it's more social. I don't like huge crowds or new people. I am outgoing, but not because my anxiety tells me otherwise. I tend to over think everything. Every word I say, every word you say. When people say that words have an impact, they really do. It doesn't help that I have OCD as well.
I hate it when people are one way towards me and another way to other people. Fake people absolutely annoy me. I also absolutely cannot stand whistling, people chewing (It's called Misophonia), and the sound of metal scraping.
I am not perfect (unless you are my husband who says otherwise...ha), but I am constantly watching myself. I want to always be a better person. I am me and I am not sorry for it.
Now, enjoy some more pictures of me. ;)
